THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN
Two days ago I went to see the new family flick, The Odd Life of Timothy Green. I had seen the trailer  and I thought it looked like a very sweet innocent family movie, which it turned out to be. It was a very cute movie about the ups and downs of a couple and a little boy who magically comes into their life from the garden. The movie itself was a little slow at some points for some people, me included. Also the story became very predictable which bugged me a little . I recomend it to kids and adults as a very sweet light-hearted movie. With a very creative idea I give the movie as a whole 4 out of 5 stars.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
This past weekend I went to see the new kids movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3. I  loved the first two  movies and I am quite a fan of the books. This new movie meshes together the third and fourth books, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days to create a very enjoyable movie about the lazy, or dog days of Greg Heffley's summer between seventh and eighth grade. Greg makes a promise to himself to try to have the best summer ever and spend time with his crush Holly Hills any way that is possible. He won't let his obnoxious brother Rodrick, or a new family dog, or his father wanting to spend time with him get in his way. It was packed with lots of laughs and scenes of child like fun and  adventure. The movie didn't drag on at any points, it flowed really nicely. Like the previous two It is a very cute movie that I believe audiences of all ages will enjoy. I highly recommend it, giving it 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!!!

KLIMT: The Magic of a Line
A few days ago I went to see a wonderful exhibit, KLIMT: The Magic of a Line, with my family at the Getty Center. Gustav Klimt was a painter known for creating large, elaborate and colorful paintings. It was a very special exhibit because there wasn't any of his paintings there, there was only sketches. I thought the sketches were much more interesting because you could really see the artists wonderful thought process, and how he got from paper to canvas. It was a magnificent exhibit and it was quite large, which was wonderful. I highly recommend it if you live in LA and are wanting to do something to expose you to a very lush culture. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
STEP UP 4: REVOLUTION
Yesterday, I went with my mom to see the latest Step Up movie. I was really looking forward to it because I loved almost all of the previous Step Up movies. But this one was, well, BORING.With its slow moving pace, and very clique story line I was counting the minutes until I was out of the theater. Some of the dancing was interesting but it wasn't anything room rocking. There wasn't any  life threatening stunts that would make you cling to the edge of your seat. The actors were ok, but none of them gave a phenomenal performance that made me care what happened to them. In this lovely sunny weather, I think you would have much more fun dancing yourself than watching this 90 minute flick. I give it 1 out of 5 stars. I think this franchise should hang up their dancing shoes for good.
